DAN HORNSBY
Dan Hornsby was one of the most versatile figures in early country music. A singer, songwriter, recording artist and talent scout, he worked extensively for Columbia Records while maintaining an active recording career of his own. Although best known for comic songs and novelty recordings, Hornsby was equally at home with sentimental ballads, blues and old-time material, accompanying himself on piano, trumpet or guitar depending on the session.
