JESSE RODGERS
Jesse Rogers, whose early records were issued under the name Jesse Rodgers, was a singer and guitarist active on radio and records from the 1930s onward. A first cousin of Jimmie Rodgers, he was naturally influenced by the Singing Brakeman's music, particularly in his vocal phrasing, repertoire, and guitar accompaniment. He later developed a broader career as a radio performer, television personality, and country-boogie recording artist.
