THOMAS BROWN
Thomas Brown remains an obscure figure in early country recording history. His known recording career appears to consist of a single session in Atlanta on November 14, 1930, producing just two issued sides for Brunswick: Carry Me Back to Dixie and On the Plains of Texas. Brown sang on both recordings, accompanied by an unidentified guitarist. Little else is known about his life or musical career.
